 The Blake Hotel, approximately 30,000 sq ft roof area:

Apply waterproofing at grade level and balconies, as well as provide an insulated roof assembly to a complicated 6:12 roof line that is five and six stories off the ground on a site with very limited access.  Install grey PVC membrane with welded ribs to simulate metal roof panels. Coordinate with Owner after project completion to add snow bars a snow melt system to improve snow retention performance; coordinate with subcontractor to design and install a roof platform for safe access to rooftop equipment.

Completely remove existing roof system down to the roof deck. For flat sections of the roof, Install insulation, mechanically fastened. Adhere 60 mil TPO. For tile sections of the roof, remove and dispose of existing tile roof system. Install new underlayment. Install new Ludowici tile.

Completely remove existing roof system down to the roof deck. Mechanically attach 2” of insulation to the deck. Install ½” gypsum fiber cover board. Adhere 60 mil TPO membrane to the cover board.

Completely remove the existing roof system down to the roof deck. Install ¼” secure rock fiber coverboard. Install 72 mil PVC membrane system, induction weld.

Completely remove the existing roof system down to the roof deck. Install 2 layers of 2.6 inch rigid insulation ballasted to the roof deck. Adhere ¼” per foot tapered insulation over the base layers of insulation for positive drainage. Ballast 60 mil white TPO to coverboard. Install 60 mil TPO base curbs and flashings.
